Value Engineered Miniature Linear LED Light with Integrated Connecting System

The StickVE-LED is a value engineered version of the Stick2-LED. An ultra compact strip LED light which features a high and even light output with an overlapping connecting system to avoid gaps in longer runs of light. Low energy consumption, long lifetime, and a lower price than the Stick2-LED. The StickVE is also UL EPH (NSF) approved for use in food applications.

Quick note for those replacing lights: What we have left of the StickVE lights is shown below. Right after them, we will have notes about the Hera THINSTICK-LED Lights which will be your choice for replacements for the old StickVE-LED lights.

Product Features: (from the Hera Lighting Catalog)

  • Aluminum and Plexiglas housing
  • Extremely small dimensions: 3/8" width x 5/16" height
  • Can be recessed mounted (flush with surface) or surface mounted
  • Available in 8" (2W), 12" (3W), 32" (7.5W), and 44" (10.5W) and 46" in Cool White (BUT ALL ARE DISCONTINUED, See ThinStick note)
  • Note: if replacing existing StickVE lights, the 32" and 44" years ago did measure 34" and 46". Hera reduced the lengths. But then brought back the 46" in Cool White.
  • Available in 3000K (warm white), and 4100K (cool white) - while supplies last
  • Estimated 30,000 hours of usable life (Note that the Stick2-LED are rated for 50,000 hours)
  • Good CRI >80 with even light output
  • EPH certified to NSF/ANSI 2 for use in food applications
  • Integrated magnets for installing upon metal surfaces (metal that is magnetic) - only part numbers ending in /M
  • Lights can connect end to end by overlapping, or spaced apart with connecting cables, allows for turning corners too
  • Power supply cable is 98" and ordered separately, one per run of lights, multiple runs can lead out of same power driver

As of July 29, 2026, we sold the last STICKVE/46/CW. We had them for quite some time, but now gone. What you can order in lieu of it is the TS/46/4000/M/N and a TS/PC/79/WH/N. The 46" long ThinStick light will be brighter, it also can be mounted magnetically if you need that. With the power cord, you can connect it to the same LED power driver that you have and continue to have the same kind of light, just a bit brighter.

ThinStick-LED as Replacements for StickVE-LED

First note we would like to offer when choosing the ThinStick LED as a replacement, the ThinStick WILL BE brighter.
Also, all ThinStick LED lights have built in magnetic mounting, BUT you can still mount them with mounting clips too on wood or non-magnetic surfaces.

If your old StickVE-LED lights have Stick VE 8 3000 or warm white written on them,
order the ThinStick TS/8/3000/M/N.

If your old StickVE-LED lights have Stick VE 8 4000 or cool white written on them,
order the ThinStick TS/8/4000/M/N.

And continue that thought for Stick VE 12 3000 or warm white > TS/12/3000/M/N

THEN, you will need a ThinStick power cable to go from your LED power driver to the light. So get a TS/PC/79/WH/N for every run of lights you need to begin out of your LED power driver. You can still use your existing drivers if they are still functioning. You can run ThinStick and Stick VE lights from the same driver as long as you do not exceed the maximum wattage for the driver. If you have ThinStick lights that you need to connect together in a string, they do connect end to end, or you can space them apart with connecting cables. ThinStick connecting cables have different ends than what the old Stick, Stick2, Stick2HO, Stick3, and StickVE lights HAD. So it is important to get the proper ThinStick power cables and connecting cables when upgrading to ThinStick. To see the full array of THINSTICK Lights and Parts, follow that link.

The StickVE-LED lights are low voltage and must run from the 24 volt constant voltage power drivers. There are several choices of drivers, the PS24V drivers are those you want to select from. StickVE lights are NOT dimmable. Since there are many accessories to choose from and they apply to many of the Hera low voltage LED lights, we show them on a page by themselves instead of making this page a lot longer. Please go to LED Power Drivers and Dimmers to make your selections to go with the lights.

The /M after the part numbers now represents integrated magnets for mounting on metal surfaces without drilling. These lights are very popular in coolers. They can just stick on to magnetic metal surfaces. They are extremely lightweight, the magnets hold.
