Mountain Twig Handles Schaub

The Mountain collection is made from solid bronze. These handles will be heavy and feel very firm. They have the lifelike appearance of real twigs and small branches. The smaller single screw twig pulls, which look like a T-pull, can be used on small drawers, or in the corners of cabinet doors if you choose not to have large handles. Additionally, you could use them in pairs on extra wide drawers to give you a place to grab near the ends of a drawer to open it evenly. Thus, when mounted, the twig could be horizontal or vertical. They look good in both directions.

As you get into the 4", 6", and 12" center to center twig handles, you can attempt to match the size of your handle to the overall dominance of your cabinet doors and drawer fronts. You could do a uniform 4" or 6" throughout the kitchen, and reserve the 12" look for pantry doors. The 12" pulls are considered an appliance pull. So for dishwashers and refirgerators that are masked with wooden cabinet doors, you can add the 12" CTC handles to those doors. The 12" CTC pulls are actually 15-5/8" long overall. They are really a nice size. The ends of the handles actually show the rings of growth in a tree for a more realistic look.

All four sizes are available in 5 rustic finishes each. The Antique Bronze, Italian Nickel, and Verde Imperiale better resemble colors of a branch you may pick up off the ground in a forest. The Natural Bronze and Antique Silver are nice for kitchens where you are aiming for a gold tone or silver tone look to finish off your decor.

The Mountain collection is distinctly a themed handle. It definitely is not for every kitchen. Sorry, those all white kitchens you find in Miami, white doors, white counters, white floors, this is probably not the handle choice for that kind of kitchen. The Mountain collection, in our opinion, is for custom homes, sometimes out in the woods, that have a lot of gorgeous woodwork throughout your home. And again, not just the kitchen. A pair of the 12" handles on an antique armoire would look awesome if you are doing a nature or woods type theme. Even as pull handles on a pair of doors leading to a bedroom or den. There are many uses for themed cabinetry hardware. You just need to be in a place where the theme applies.
